Andrew Lemoncello has been left out of the Great Britain team for the European Cross Country Championships in Brussels later this month.

The Arizona-based athlete had been hoping results gained in the US would have been enough to sway the selectors.

He gambled on missing the official trial in Liverpool and paid the price.
