
Evergreen Haining the top Scot in Glasgow 10K

Hayley Haining finishes top Brit at Glasgow Women's 10k
Hayley Haining was the top British finisher in the Ignis Asset Management Women's 10k in Glasgow, taking fifth place behind four Kenyans.
The 37-year old Scot - who finished 12th in last year's New York Marathon - completed the course in 33 minutes and 31 seconds.
Kenyan teenager Linet Masai - a silver medallist at this year's World Cross Country Championships - took the title with a comfortable victory, finishing over two minutes ahead of Haining in 31 minutes and 30 seconds.
Holland's Hilda Kibet claimed second while Kenya's Grace Momanyi took third as 10,500 women took part in Glasgow's Bellahouston Park.
