Meanwhile, Susan McKelvie underlined her Commonwealth Games potential with a season’s best hammer throw of 61.21m.
UK 5000m champion Freya Murray won the 1500m in a season’s best of 4.19.10 minutes while 17-year-old Gregor MacLean set a new pole vault personal best of 4.70m.
