

Eilidh Child heads to Lithuania for European under-23 Championships
Pitreavie's Eilidh Child is one of three 400m hurdlers flying the flag for Great Britain at next month?s European under-23 Championships in Kaunas.
Child, 23, has taken chunk after chunk off her personal best, which currently stands at 53.20 seconds, this season, earning her the chance to represent Great Britain at the European Team Championships in Portugal, earlier this month.
Joining Child in the 400m hurdles will be reigning national champion Perri Shakes-Drayton as well as world junior bronze medallist Meghan Beesley.
"We have a very strong team of athletes who are ranked well in Europe, along with a good team of coaches," said team leader John Trower.
"I'm excited about our prospects and I hope we can match or exceed our medal haul in previous years."
