Birmingham relishing Scottish challenge
Australia's Olympic 5,000metres representative Collis Birmingham will return to Scotland almost immediately after the Beijing Games finish on August 24.

Birmingham, who competed in the World Cross-Country Championships in Edinburgh back in March, will defend his 1,500m title in the Stewarts Scottish National Championships at Pitreavie on August 30/31.
Birmingham said: "I am really pleased to be rounding of my season with a defence of my Stewarts Scottish 1500m title. I enjoyed the heat and final last year and look forward to taking on the young Scots at Dunfermline."
