Glasgow will host one of the largest ever gatherings of the finest minds in athletics this November after the programme for the International Festival of Athletics Coaching was announced.

Middle distance great Wilson Kipeter will deliver a key note speech while Glen Mills, coach of double Olympic champion Usain Bolt, and pole vault legend Sergey Bubka will also be in attendance.

And European Athletics Coaches Association president Frank Dick was thrilled to have sealed a deal with Scottish Athletics following the success of last year's event.

He said: "I am delighted that EACA is continuing our excellent partnership relationship with scottishathletics and UKA.

"This partnership, combined with input from European Athletics and IAAF, provides the opportunity for Scotland and the United Kingdom to deliver the jewel in the crown in terms of athletics coaching events and to deliver a world class programme of activity for coaches of all levels.

"I look forward to the programme growing in the coming years in line with the growing international reputation this event continues to develop."
