Scottish archer Emma Downie and rest of Team GB struggle in Croatia
Edinburgh archer Emma Downie suffered a torrid time of things at the second World Cup of the season, but she was not alone as all eight GB bowmen suffered in Croatia.
Downie crashed to an 100-99 agonising defeat in the first knock-out round, but still has a chance of making amends in the team competition.
The only shining light was 17-year-old Tom Barber, who reached the last 16, defeating China's Chena Wenyuan - who was seeded three - only to lose to France's Jean-Charles 106-104.
But Team GB's Beijing Olympians Alan Wills and Simon Terry both slumped to shock first round defeats.
Wills qualified in the top ten for the knock-out stages but crashed out 105-101 to Belarus' Mikalai Marusau, while Terry - who picked up bronze last time out in the Dominican Republic - lost 113-119 to Antti Mansukoski.
In the women's event, Alison Williamson, fresh from her silver medal in the Dominican Republic was no match for Italy's Elena Tonetta, as she sunk to a 111-106 defeat.
And Charlotte Burgess also fell at the same hurdle to France's Berengere Schuh 111-107 while Naomi Folkard bowed out in the first round.
