Tynes sets targets

Tynes sets kicking average high to displace veteran Carney at NY Giants
Scottish kicker Lawrence Tynes has set his target high for the new NFL campaign with the New York Giants.
The Greenock-born player had to sit out much of last season after a knee injury in training camp and then losing his place to veteran John Carney.
With training camp beginning on August 3, Tynes admits he learned from watching Carney at work.
Carney kicked 92 per cent and Tynes outlined: "I have to be there or higher which I can do and we can do as a unit and as a team. We don't want any drop off from what John did."
