Tynes out in the cold as veteran Carney holds the fort for Giants

Scottish kicker Lawrence Tynes was left on the sidelines again as New York Giants beat Washington Redskins 23-7 in the NFL.
Tynes, who signed a long-term deal with the Super Bowl champions earlier this year, has only played once this season.
He suffered a knee injury which required minor surgery in pre-season but, since then, veteran John Carney has held down his place.
Carney kicked three field goals out of three at the weekend and has hardly put a foot wrong.
Coach Tom Coughlin insists he is taking it on a week-to-week basis but only once has he given Tynes the nod over Carney.
