Pirates begin season with victory over Gateshead

East Kilbride Pirates opened their British League Premier Division campaign with a 34-8 win over Gateshead Senators in Hamilton.
Running back Blake Kyle scored touchdowns on the Pirates' opening two drives to set them up for the victory.
