Pirates raid GB squad
Seven players from East Kilbride Pirates selected for GB squad
Seven players from East Kilbride Pirates have been named in Great Britain's 51-strong squad for this week's tri-nation matches against Australia and Sweden at Loughborough.
Offensive lineman Robert Beveridge, tight end Mark Murphy, running back Iain Dick, defensive lineman Steven Wilson, linebacker Lee Collins and defensive backs Scott Findlay and James McIntosh are all included.
The club is also well represented on the coaching front with linebackers coach Steve Collins named as GB defensive coach.
Pirates' head coach Andy Mackintosh was recently named as linebacvkers coach to the GB Lions youth team.
