The East Kilbride Pirates kept up their 100% record in the British American Football League by defeating the Yorkshire Rams 46-29 in Leeds on Sunday.

A tough match was expected, as the Scottish side had won by only two points a week before, but the team was much changed from that encounter.

The Pirates raced to a 22-0 half time lead despite a scoreless first quarter, including a fine 77 yard running touchdown by Quarterback Ryan Hunter.

Almost every drive in the third quarter ended up scoring, with the visitors adding 24 points to their opponents 16. The final stages belonged to the Rams, but despite adding 13 points, they never looked like giving the Pirates a real scare.
