East Kilbride Pirates' offensive lineman Alan Greenshields has been called up to the North Britain uinversity squad for the Most Valuable Player game against South Britain.

Greenshields, 21, has been played for the University of West of Scotland and was invited to an MVP training camp in Manchester.

He has now been invited to take part in further training session before the match with South Britain at the end of April.

Greenshields will return to training with the Pirates as they prepare for their assault on the British American Football League (BAFL) Division 1 North which kicks off on May 3.
