Don Edmonston praises Wolves' defensive display
Edinburgh Wolves head coach Don Edmonston insists his sides defensive performance paved the way for their 10-6 victory over Clyde Valley Blackhawks.
Wide receiver Stu Galloway scored the Wolves' only touchdown when he gathered a 58-yard pass from quarterback Allan Price.
Kicker Billy Mitchell also added four points and despite a late touchdown for the Blackhawks, Edinburgh held on and Edmonston was quick to praise his side's battling qualities.
"Everyone really contributed and put in a great effort," he said.
"There were a couple of mistakes early on but we put those behind us and it came together.
"Our defence held the Blackhawks in place while our offence and special teams put some valuable points on the board."
