Super Bowl champions New York Giants will not bring in another kicker to compete for Scot Lawrence Tynes' starting berth.
The Giants brought in two additional kickers last year at pre-season training camp as head coach Tom Coughlin looked at all his options.
But the coach has revealed that Tynes will be the sole kicker when camp opens next month.
It is a vote of confidence in the Greenock-born kicker who made the kick that sent the Giants to the Super Bowl.
He was recently given a long-term contract wtih the team.
