Terry delighted with seventh place
Simon Terry turned back the clock to lead the British men's Olympic archery team to fifth place in the rankings round in Beijing.

Terry, bronze medallist in the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, looked as though he had never been away from top-class competition as he finished seventh in the individual event with 670 points, just nine behind leader Mexican Juan Rene Serrano.

The Scotsman said: "I got off to a slow start, but the second half was good and I don't think I could have asked for anything more of myself. The conditions were tricky. Temperatures were high and it was quite difficult to read the wind. I will take every match as it comes If I shoot well and I lose, I will still be pleased."

He added: "We've got a good team and we'll do well at these Games. Last year we did well and we hope to keep that run going."
The 34-year-old's team-mates are Alan Wills, who was 21st, and Larry Godfrey, who came 34th.
"Coming fifth is a great result," said Terry. "We were pretty relaxed and I am now feeling quite confident for Monday's competition."
The men face hosts China on Monday, with the winners going on to meet Russia in the last eight.
