‘Seven years ago I was persuaded to join the newly established Scottish Institute of Sport, which I believed was a long overdue initiative. Now the timing is right to establish The Foundation, which takes a business approach to building a Culture of Winning through sport and allows freedom to take calculated risks and invest in winning and winning alone. I have often talked about ‘an unshakeable belief’ in both my sports and business career. I now add The Foundation to this mix.’

Winning Scotland Foundation was inspired by successful entrepreneur Sir Bill Gammell, Chief Executive of Cairn Energy PLC. A former Scottish rugby internationalist, Bill has a lifelong interest in building winning teams and encouraging self-determination.
